It is often said that other Formula 1 teams are car companies that also race, whereas Ferrari are a racing company that also sells cars.  Therein lies the fundamental difference, and a reason why Ferrari evokes incredible passion to be, what is probably, the most iconic and blood-stirring brand in the world.                    

Ferrari has been a part of Continental Car Services for over 30 years – since 1973.  The first car sold by Tim Bailey (founder) was a Ferrari Dino 246GT.  Since then over 350 new Ferrari have been sold in New Zealand.  In these three plus decades, New Zealand has developed to be one of the highest achievers in Ferrari sales per capita in the world, especially in the top-end V12 models.  Today, Ferrari is part of the unique Italian Car Centre at 21 Great South Road.
